WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Immersing yourself as a key member of the development team, you will use your JS and React skills to produce impressive applications for an abundance of clients in both the public and private sector. Working closely with your team and team lead, you will thrive in a busy enviroment, constantly learning and adapting daily.

Our growing team has two bases... London, and Newbury. We are looking for a candidate willing to work in Newbury, or to commute for 6 months from London before returning to work in our London Branch!

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE...

2 or more years of commercial experience as a Developer

A high level of proficiency in JavaScript using React

A solid understanding and experience using Node and Express (or similar)

An understanding of unidirectional data flow in Front End applications

Experience with SCSS or other CSS pre-processors

Knowledge of Responsive Web Design

Proficiency with Git

Excellent people skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients

Good communication skills, with an ability to express and understand complex technical concepts

WHAT IS IS NICE TO HAVE

Strong HTML5 and CSS3 hand-coding skills

Some knowledge of .NET, or a similar language

Experience with task runners (Grunt, Gulp, Webpack)

Experience in JavaScript unit testing

Knowledge of Accessibility best practices

Experience of working with Microservices (and similar RESTful APIs)
