We are now looking for a Senior Paid Media Executive to join our marketing department.

You will be joining the Tote during a period of growth for our B2C business so this is a key role in the customer acquisition team where you will be responsible for strategic management and budget ownership for Digital Marketing activity covering Paid Search, Paid Social and Display Media. Reporting into the Customer Acquisition manager you will create and plan the day to day running and analysis of media to ensure continuous optimisation and improvement.

We are looking for a highly analytical, results driven marketer with a strong work ethic and experience managing performance campaigns across a number of channels and platforms. Our headquarters in Wigan is the main hub for our team of over 200 innovative and ambitious experts dedicated to delivering our vision of providing the best betting experience for racing fans. The role will be 37.5 hours per week with core business hours 9am till 5pm, the role will be based from our Wigan HQ with approx. 2/3 days per week onsite. A full induction, on the job training and development plan will be put in place for anyone who joins the team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage the daily build and optimisation of Paid Search, Paid Social and Display to drive effective new customer acquisition
  • Identify high-value/high-converting keywords, Audiences, creative placements, for the best possible ROAS and CPA
  • Work closely with the BI team to create and upload re-targeting and prospecting audiences based on value segments
  • Identify promotional opportunities liaising with internal teams to configure, implement and measure promotional initiatives across your channels
  • Lead relationships with key publishers, vendors, ad servers and platforms such as Meta, Google, and Flashtalking
  • Define and regularly share KPI reports for each Paid Media channel, reporting performance to key stakeholders

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience working across Paid Search which includes the build and optimisation of PPC campaigns in line with clearly defined targets
  • Experience of wider Paid Media channels such as Paid Social and Display
  • A solid understanding of the principles of effective marketing campaigns and proven experience analysing campaign performance and briefing the wider business on their impact
  • Experience using 3rd party tracking tools such as Google Analytics with an ability to interpret and make data-driven decisions on an-going basis
  • An understanding of digital advertising legislation and codes of practice such as CAP and ASA guidelines
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • A passion for Sports/Horse Racing or a history of working in online Gambling is advantageous but not essential
