Job Description:

As a Trainee IT Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top IT talent for our clients. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced recruiters to learn the ropes of the recruitment process. This role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about technology, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior recruiters to understand client requirements and job descriptions
  • Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks
  • Conduct initial screenings of candidates to assess their skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system
  • Assist in negotiating job offers and managing the onboarding process
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in the IT field
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates to foster long-term connections
  • Support the overall recruitment team in achieving hiring targets


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) would be advantageous although not essential.
  • Strong interest in the IT industry and willingness to understand different technology roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools is a plus
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of IT recruitment
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales is beneficial but not mandatory.
