This tech team are led by tech people; Developers who have been there and done it meaning they know what is possible and understand realistic timescales for pieces of work. They work to agile methodologies and the devs get solid documentation, pulled together by dedicated BAs and prioritised by technical PMs.

Wren are now looking to strengthen their in-house development teams by recruiting a number of Software Developers to reinforce the good work that has shaped these teams over the last couple of years and to provide the tech backup for the 1200 jobs that Wren are creating in their upcoming £120million expansion. This recruitment drive will see Wren's iOS team grow by two people, ideally one senior and one mid-weight.

Wren offer the chance for Software Developers to join a team specialising in solving complex business problems, building enterprise level software systems to support the wider business in all sorts of areas covering Customer Services, Manufacturing, Logistics, Retail and the public facing websites. Mobile apps will play a key part across a range of these business areas as they continue to remain at the forefront of technology.

The iOS Developers joining Wren in the coming weeks will predominantly work on projects covering:

• Enterprise apps for internal use in the business including:
  • Apps for installers to have all relevant info to hand whilst on customer site
  • Apps in-store for ease of customers to view and confirm orders
  • Integration with voice and camera functionality of mobile devices

• New public apps to allow the customer full control of the order lifecycle

The successful iOS Developers will join at an exciting time for Wren Kitchens and will be pivotal in the success of Wren in the coming years through allowing them to make the most of continually advancing mobile technologies. The development team are open, collaborative and genuinely forward thinking, encouraging ideas and input from the most junior of developers and expecting input on architectural decisions from those with more experience.
