Junior .NET Developer - Opportunity to work with technologies including C# / .NET CORE / ASP.NET MVC / WEB API / ANGULAR

 

Based in Sheffield's busy tech hub, we're a services provider with a wealth of industry experience under our belts. We're expanding our technical team in the form of a Junior Developer; this is a fantastic opportunity for a budding developer with at least 12 months' experience to join a corporate organisation and play an integral role to the future of our products!

WHO ARE WE?

We are an award winning company with over 15 years' experience in our industry. We've grown rapidly since our inception and have offices throughout the UK. All of our technical staff are based out of our Sheffield hub and now is a really exciting time to join the team! As a large company servicing 130,000 customers annually, our IT systems are vital to everything we do and we have huge appreciation and admiration for our Tech team. We already have a talented team of developers here in our Sheffield office and are now looking to appoint a Junior .NET Developer with a good understanding of C# / .NET. You will be supported by more senior team members and have the opportunity to pick up skills including .NET CORE / ASP.NET MVC / WEB API / ANGULAR! This is a fast paced environment, with plenty of scope to grow and progress both professionally and personally!

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You will undergo training in .NET and the technologies surrounding it, and be involved with projects from initial concept to release. You will work alongside the wider development team in an agile environment, and report into the Development Manager - we have a 20 person strong IT team, broke down into smaller Scrum teams across the business, so there is plenty of opportunity to learn from your colleagues.

You must have at least 12 months' experience working with C# / .NET. You will use your skills to work on our complex web and desktop software systems that are at the heart of our business. You will also get the chance to do some mobile application development. We are now branching into cloud based systems so you will be getting stuck in with this too! This role is great for an ambitious developer who is keen to pick up new skills and get their career off to a flying start!

 

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE...

  • C# / .NET (at least 12 months' commercial experience, not including placement year) 

 

IT IS NICE TO HAVE...

  • .NET CORE / ASP.NET MVC / WEB API / ANGULAR experience
  • Experience following agile practices
