*Office in York - Visits to the office once a week

We are embarking on an exciting journey to transform our existing Windows Forms-based client into a web-based application. While preserving the core functionality, the front-end web application presents an opportunity for innovative UI design and development. We're seeking an experienced Front-End Web Developer to seamlessly integrate with our dynamic development team. As a front-end developer, you'll collaborate with product owners and our UI/UX experts to shape our flagship application.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript or JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, AngularJS, VueJS).
  • Strong command of CSS and styling frameworks such as Styled Components, Bootstrap, Foundation, Semantic UI, and Material UI.
  • Familiarity with version control systems
  • Experience with front-end build tools like Webpack, Gulp, and Grunt.
  • Competence in NPM and Node.js tooling.
  • Comfort working with REST APIs.
  • Experience in writing testable code, including unit tests, and following a test-driven development approach using JavaScript test frameworks
