About The Role:
As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll lead our team in creating robust, efficient, and performant services and APIs. You'll blend hands-on engineering, architecture design, strategy, and people leadership, working on services that underpin a product used by millions across the globe.
Responsibilities:
- Drive agile development of cutting-edge services and APIs, instilling a product-centric philosophy.
- Gain a deep understanding of our field, rigorously applying domain-driven design principles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across teams, making strategic decisions aligned with the business vision.
- Facilitate software architecture planning and implementation for scalability and performance.
- Contribute hands-on to projects, writing high-quality code.
- Mentor engineers for personal and professional growth, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Ensure best practices and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining service-oriented architectures at scale.
- Deep knowledge of the AWS ecosystem and serverless architecture.
- Track record of solving complex engineering problems.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, including CI/CD.
- Mastery of TypeScript.
- Understanding of data storage and processing, including data pipelines and large data sets.
- Exceptional communication skills, bridging technical and business worlds.
- Ability to mentor and elevate teams, promoting continuous learning.
- Product-focused approach, emphasizing understanding user needs and delivering value.
