We are looking for highly dynamic Gardener to join due to an exciting new project!

ABOUT ORIGIN PALMANOVA

Since opening in 2020, Origin Palmanova Roof Terrace has established itself as the one of the best drink-led venues in Mallorca. With a capacity of up to 200, the venue is split over 3 terraces with 2 beautifully designed interior spaces and is a popular choice for events and private parties. As much as Origin is well known for its small plates and live music sessions, the main focus is the drinks offer: signature craft cocktails, great local wines and classics served on-point. We care about each other through a team-oriented culture and our employees. By spring next year, the posterior terrace is planned to home nearly 300 aeroponic towers. This is a unique opportunity to work with the growers and have a direct link between the cocktail menu and the seasonal produce we’re growing on-site. New for 2022, the addition of a breakfast and brunch offer will allow Origin to open its doors to trade all day. 

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

We’re looking for an organised individual who has experience in horticulture and has a passion for gardening. The role would involve maintaining and growing plants for our kitchen and bars to use, ensuring the produce are nurtured and well cared for. You will be in charge of ensuring the garden is kept clean and tidy, as well as performing basic maintenance such as managing weed control. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of gardening and how to grow produce, as well as recognising pests or any factors which would affect the growth of plants.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in horticulture.
• Ability to use gardening equipment.
• Gardening knowledge
• Good written and spoken English and Spanish.
