Based in Derby, our client is an industry leading digital company who have been specialising in virtual reality, creativity and communication for over 20 years. With a growing team, they are now looking for a passionate graduate web developer to join their company as they continue to explore and work with new technologies to support their clients requirements. Their customer base includes huge household names across varying industries.

Projects range from involvement in aerospace, animation and construction, so your day to day will be full of exciting and innovative work with exposure to some of the biggest brands in the UK!

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING…

You will be using your degree knowledge of both front and back end development, whilst using the latest web technologies to deliver exciting solutions to their client base.

Your main focus will be creating high quality web applications, whilst developing your knowledge and undertaking training to allow you to be highly successful! You will receive valuable daily insights from your experienced colleagues within the development team, mentorship and access to online learning platforms.

If you have a degree in a related subject, and knowledge of HTML , JavaScript, CSS , React and PHP- then this is the role for you!

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…

  • Front end knowledge of HTML, CSS , JavaScript, React
  • Backend knowledge of Node.js and PHP
  • A degree in Computer Science or a similar subject
  • Fantastic work ethic, with an outstanding passion for web development
  • The ability to commute to their Derby office on a daily basis

IT'S NICE TO HAVE…

  • Knowledge of Typescript and DevOps
  • Industry experience either during a placement year or up to 1 year post study
